Diane Loomer Commissioning Fund for Elektra Women’s Choir

Diane Loomer, C.M., co-founded Elektra Women’s Choir with Morna Edmundson in 1987 and co-conducted the choir for 22 years until May 2009. Diane’s love of choral music and desire to help it flourish have caused her to encourage dozens of emerging composers and arrangers. With her husband, Dick, Diane founded Cypress Choral Music which principally publishes works by Canadians.

On her retirement from co-conducting Elektra, the choir created a special fund to celebrate Diane’s commitment to new compositions for women’s choir. Your charitable donation to the Diane Loomer Commisioning Fund for Elektra’s Women’s Choir will be pooled with others and used to fund new commissions.
